Vows of Deceit is a Made-for-TV Movie Thriller that premiered on May 20, 2018 on the US channel Lifetime under the alternative title Deadly Matrimony (not to be confused with the 1992 TV movie starring Brian Dennehy). The central character is Sara Ross, portrayed by Katherine Bailess . Everything seems to be going brilliantly when she marries the handsome and seemingly perfect Leo Friedman ( Damon Dayoub ). However, Sara grows suspicious when Leo starts to spend time away from home and shares her concerns with best friend Parker ( Ali Cobrin ). Lifetime Movie of the Week: Though not produced by Lifetime directly, the movie fits well with the 'woman in jeopardy' theme. I loved Yan so much for protecting Lia and I loved when Lia carried him all the way after they got kidnapped. I was surprised that Lia worked with the Luca guy and attempted to kill Adrian. The whole ending had me shook cuz I was like wait what? Lia was homeless and she lost a kid and her mom and shit, was that all her imagination? Her hallucinations were so real it would make sense. I’m guessing the next book is gonna focus on what Lia remembers and the reader will find out how Lia ended up as Winter. It’s weird how she immediately knew she was Lia once Luca told her, but whatever. Anyways, so far my questions are: Omg this fed so many of my perverted, deviant needs. And Winter felt the same way because she enjoyed it as much as she hated it.

The movie was produced by The Ninth House , a US-based company headed by director Jake Helgren and producer Autumn Federici . The screenplay was co-written by Jake Helgren and Emily Nye . Marvista Entertainment handle distribution rights. It’s a bold statement but I’m thinking this is my favorite mafia romance. Adrian is most definitely my favorite mobster. I feel like nothing really happened in the book and yet a lot was going on. Like, most of the questions we begin with haven’t been answered and worse again we close the book asking even more ones. I mean the revelation—cliffhanger— at the end left me with a gaped mouth wondering if anything was real after all, I couldn’t and can’t even dissolve the truth from the lie at this stage. Tiffany Hines gets to do her best Sharon Stone impression in the motel room. Her character Melinda sits with her bare legs crossed, smoking cigarette in hand.

At some point in the beginning of this story , you might ask yourself why in the blazes is Winter staying after seeing Adrian’s dark & cruel side… than we meet Jeremy & than everything seems to fall into place for us Whenever she was in her head trying to never forget who she was it broke my heart and the thoughts of her ''past''. It frustrated me the first time I read this when Adrian would not budge or even in the darkness remind her she is always Winter, but she needs to pretend. My name is Winter Cavanaugh and I was born in Michigan. My father died when I was a toddler, and my mom relocated us to New York for work reasons.” and he is also an asshole to his staff and wouldn't hesitate to kill them at the smallest inconvenience. they should honestly just work together at this point and kill him themselves. Sasha— Aleksander—a guard who's even prettier than Yan, lowers his head, awkwardly clearing his throat.

The Hero: Adrian Volkov - An Obshchak in the Russian Bratva. The only one he answers to is the Pakhan (Leader of the Bratva). He may or may not have killed his wife Lia, and he is replacing her with Winter who he seems to want to turn into Lia completely. Winter goes from being one of NYC’s multiple homeless numbers to being forced to take the place of a very powerful man’s wife. Apparently doppelgängers exist and Lia, Adrian Volkov’s missing wife is Winter’s. i thought it was a trilogy in the sense that "here have three books about three different asshole men" BUT IT'S NOT? who is asking for more of this???? I have been reading Rina's book since the time she published Elite series and trust me when I say that this is definitely Rina's top work till now!! She is at her best and has me completely speechless after this book. I don't think it's a secret that how crazy I was about meeting Adrian and he was everything I wanted so much more. He was dark, commanding and intimidating and so freaking hot! The man had me gasping every time he made an appearance in the book!

Not me acting like I'm in an episode of Criminal Minds trying to figure out wtf is going on in this book & doing up FBI... She managed to spin this tale so well that I have tons of questions!! Even though I got some answers and am happy that some of my theories were correct about this book, I have Tons of new questions!! Adrian and Winter have a tale that will confuse and intrigue you in the most enticing way possible.
